Baltimore Opera Supers

BOPS members appear in the Walters Grand Opening festivities
in costumes from Mozart's The Magic Flute.
Baltimore Opera Supers (BOPS) is a volunteer support group dedicated to assisting the Baltimore Opera Company.
This assistance includes helping audience members at performances, meeting artists at the airport, operating a backstage canteen at all rehearsals and performances. Members also serve as light walkers in lighting rehearsals and appear on stage as supernumeraries (non-singing extras) in opera productions.
Volunteers can be found in the administrative offices helping in Development, Marketing and other areas.
BOPS promotes Baltimore Opera in the community and is involved with the Educational Outreach programs that are taken into schools.
In addition, the organization provides educational and social activities for its members. Whether you are a seasoned opera fan or have never attended an opera performance, this is a perfect way to become directly involved with this fascinating art form. For more information call the BOPS Hotline at 410-321-7431.
